A lonely fae galloped along the open field as a tree filled with orchids came open to her. She squinted alittle to see no one around as she halted. Good. I'm alone she thought as her old life came to her. She neighed as the memory flooded her mind she shook hard and fast on her skulla. She walked to the orchid and grazed slowly and then seen the open pool she smiled and walked to it to make sure no one was here. She sighed lonely. This is just something stupid she thought. She glanced around and layed down a smell of the water filling her nares.

He didn't really intend of finding someone, but as his grey daggers carried him out of the shadowed trees, she stood there. He stopped in a shock and his nerves preyed on him. Had she heard him? he lowerd his arch as the thoughts all at once flashed at him. He hadn't been shy before...

A stag filled her nostrils and she drew her daggers to the lone stallion looking at her. She drew up and looked at him and smiled. Well well a stallion coming up to me she thought. It had been a long time since she had seen a stallion look at her. She drew back as he froze. I bet hes thinking I know hes here no? she thought. She looked at him and nieghed her greeting. Yes stag what is it you want she hissed but that was how she was no stopping her there. She drew her long lashes at the brute as he stood.

He jumped a little. He shudderd for a bit thinking about his words.
Hello...
he felt stupid, his words slow and quiet. His nerves had got the better, but there was no reason for this. He took a step back. Maybe he should leave..

She sensed his shyness. I'm sorry for scaring you my name is Night Rose but you can call me Rose. You do not have to give me yours but it is alright Sire she said calmly. She looked at him with interest and joy. For she had never been around another before she had but he had tried to kill her. She did get away but for a prise a prise her life belong to him. For he would kill her soon....she hoped not to soon... She had no idea who he was or what he had wanted. She looked at the stag and smiled. She walked to him and halted when she was in front but not to close. She did not know what he was going to do to her being.

He smiled a smile of relif. He felt clam now, for she was not to hurt him. He rasied his arch a little higher,
No no, It is only polite for you to know my calling
He smiled and spoke again,
I'm Ruby Runner, Ruby if you like.
He told her softly. He was alway polite at new equines that he hadn't met. His father told him to do so. He smiled again as he waited for a reply of the colourfull mare.

She smiled when he smiled. Ruby she repeated with a smile. She looked at him. I sense no fear in him. I think he is warming up to me she thought with a smile on her kissers. She lifted her peds with boredom and sighed. Boring she thought with a change in attitude. She smirked and trotted away. She looked at him to see if he would follow. Would he? she thought and picked her peds in one swift embark. She neighed to him to follow if he disired to. Then she stopped. What if he was one of them she thought with a hiss. She turned to him and glared. She went to him and hissed with angry. Your not one of them are you? she asked with vemon in her voice.

He looked at her, his expression in confusion,
One of them? Who are they? I am only one that folllow the path of a pure.
He said to her, maybe she was a light too. Well ofcorse she is, she wouldn't be here else. He smiled hoping she'd understand. A quick flash of what he left behind came too him. He looked skooked for a small second and lowerd his arch still waiting for a reply.

She looked him over. I thought so but they go after mares. I believe they are called Night Stalkers a friend of mine got taken away from me 20 moons ago and i have been scared to death about me being next.... she said with a hiss.
I was guessing you are a light like I she said as she stopped. I was making sure you were not one or it would have been your death she repiled with a grin. She looked at him and smiled after her reply. I'm sorry for hissing like that to you i really am Ruby she said and her head dropped for talking to him like that.

She smiled a thank you. She looked around thanking God they were alone. I'm also guessing you are leaving? she asked. Most do this to me its nothing new after they learn my name they just leave she stirred saying. She nickered and backed up one step. Guessing he would do the same even though he is different from the others....Would he stay or leave like the rest have?

He thought about it, he needed mares in his herd, but by rules of the land this was not the "claiming grounds".
No no, I'll have to go, I need to find members to stay with me
He told her turning his arch behind him as his bodice did the same. His fore lead first as he walked off into the trees to once came.

She shook her head and her head hung low. I guess so he is like the others she said sadly. She shook her head trying to get rid of the forelock in her face. She then nickered her leaving...wondering if he heard she didn't care now not now not ever. She turned and walked away signaling her leave....She then stopped to watch him as he left. Wondering if she should go or not? She stood there waiting, thinking, hoping....
