A golden shaft of sunlight seemed to serve as a spotlight on the warm day. Spring had arrived, without a doubt. The radiant energy warmed the sands of Snapdragon Sandbar, giving the hooves of an equine a soft and pleasing landing with every fall of the cascading digits. Shadows were abundant in the neighboring forests, but dared not to crawl out into the open upon the golden specks of crystal that served as a blanket over the earth in the area. Getijde found the place much to his pleasure, and the primed golden stag let a gracious smile paint itself across the canvas flesh of his skull. What a great day this was turning out to be.
Obsidians clattered in a loud racket as the lord created a roar of sound and movement that echoed from the caverns of the grotto that rested on the eastern boundaries of Snapdragon Sandbar. Salty waters collapsed beneath his cascading digits, flying and forgetting about the dangers of revealing his presence to lurkers nearby in amid his joy and anticipation to reach the edge of the large cave of water. His smile only grew as his telescopes caught a glimpse of life, a sea turtle bathing in the waters in front of him. He did not slow, but took to the air in a leap over the exotic animal, landing behind it's path and continuing on his own.
When he reached the sand, his smile reflected that of the suns. It all but eclipsed that of the great Kaliz's natural expressions, even, god of the light alliance. Joy reflected in his tones as he took to the air once more, this time in a rear of conquering and domination over the land as he spoke clearly to those within range of the enchanting land,
"I, Gatijde, claim this land as my own. Any who dare to challenge me, may you step forth now or vanish from the range of this land, forever. May my heirs live long and rule upon this land as I will someday, and let my herd be prosperous, in my name!"
